We hear about The Scottish Regiments in those times (42nd,71st,74th,76th,84th), but hardly anything regarding The NCHR and The Queen's Rangers' Highland Co'y. | Comments: | Hello!!! I,m glad to see your site. Love it. I lived in NC for a long while and was part of the NCHR from maybe late 70's thru the 80's. Trent Carter was head at the time. Of course Mr. Cone was there then. His was the only familiar face I saw. Big turnover over the years? | Comments: | Why do some of you wear blue sleeved waistcoats? The regimentals are white faced and the lace plain white? Do you have drawings of the regimental coats or patterns? Several members of the 71st were prisoners of war after their capture in Boston Harbor in 1776, and were inturned here in Williamsburg. |
